Dear Client and Friends:
The Commissioner of Health has extended the Hero Act Designation for COVID-19 through October 31, 2021. This means employers must continue to require follow their policies, provide training to employees (if they have not already done so), and avoid retaliation against employees for reporting concerns. The new designation is available here: https://www.health.ny.gov/press/releases/2021/docs/hero_act_designation_extension_1.pdf. Information on the Hero Act, including our prior webinars, is available on our website.
