Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP and Martin, Shudt, Wallace, DiLorenzo & Johnson are pleased to announce the merger of the Martin Shudt Law firm with Hinman, Howard & Kattell effective October 1, 2021.

The Martin Shudt Law firm is extremely pleased to announce this merger of Law Practices and the expanded scope of services it will provide to their respective clients in the Capital District and throughout New York State, Florida, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The joining of these law practices will strengthen and expand the geographical reach for both firms and will build upon the diverse practice areas developed by HH&K since 1901.

Martin, Shudt, Wallace, DiLorenzo & Johnson, which began in Troy in the early part of the last century, serves New York’s Capital Region in a variety of legal and public service capacities.  Firm attorneys include leaders in a number of areas of law including trusts and estates, corporate and banking law, tax planning, real estate, health care, municipal law, elder law, labor law, litigation, and not-for-profit law.   Robert Wm. Johnson, III, James E. Prout, and Jennifer A. Cusack bring with them over 100 years of combined experience in the area of estate planning and administration.  The addition of Kirby W. DiLorenzo, David T. Garvey, Peter B. Jones, and William P. Hessney, Jr. will deepen the firm’s expertise in their respective fields and strengthen HH&K’s presence in the Capital Region and beyond.
