Partner Linda B. Johnson was appointed as Rensselaer City Court Judge on Monday, April 20th by Mayor Michael Stammel.

Linda is a member of the Firm’s Litigation, Appellate Practice, Commercial Litigation and Construction Law practice groups. She has served as an appellate court attorney for the New York State Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Third Judicial Department. Linda is also the Special Appellate Counsel for Rensselaer County, handling criminal appeals since 2016.
Ms. Johnson focuses her private practice on plaintiff’s personal injury, civil and criminal appeals, construction disputes, Article 81 Guardianship proceedings and general litigation and has extensive in-court trial, motion practice, negotiation and mediation experience, and has written and argued countless appeals.
Linda has received a number of awards and recognition including Super Lawyers, and maintains a 5 star ratings for AV and AVVO.
