Our Community

At HH&K, we know that quality of life is an increasingly important factor in career decisions. We believe that Binghamton ranks at the top of this category. Consider all the area has to offer:

Housing
Consistently ranked among the country's most affordable markets, the Binghamton area offers an array of options to suit every lifestyle, from edgy and inspiring urban lofts, to century-old mansions, to rural properties spread over dozens of acres.
Sports
Within 3 blocks of our downtown office is NYSEG Stadium, home to the Binghamton Mets baseball team (AA affiliate of the New York Mets), and the Broome County Arena, home ice for hockey's Binghamton Senators (AHL affiliate to the Ottawa Senators). Local basketball fans have been inspired by Binghamton University's recent promotion to Division I, and rewarded by the University's beautiful new Events Center, which draws avid crowds for basketball games.
Recreation
With over 20 golf courses in the county, almost all of them public, Greater Binghamton is a bit of a golfer's paradise. For those in search of the Great Outdoors, Binghamton is located at the confluence of two rivers and offers a wide variety of outdoor recreation possibilities, from canoeing and kayaking to hiking, fishing, boating and bird-watching. New York's Finger Lakes Region is just an hour away, offering dramatic natural scenery and a number of popular wineries throughout.
Culture
Binghamton is inspired by its growing arts community, which hosts monthly "First Friday" art walks among dozens of galleries downtown. "Southern Tier Celebrates" organizes a variety of musical festivals throughout the year. The Tri-Cities Opera has offered world-renown productions for nearly 60 years, and the Cider Mill Playhouse has year-round professional theater productions.
Binghamton University
Consistently ranked among the elite of America's public universities, Binghamton University's 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students add geographic and ethnic diversity and intellectual creativity to our community. BU's talented students, nationally-recognized professors and world-class research institutions and arts programs ensure a busy year-round calendar of lecturers, musical performances and other cultural events that are open to the community.
Accessibility
Just 15 minutes from downtown, the Greater Binghamton Regional Airport is a convenient gateway to the world. Located at the junction of Interstates 81, 88, and Route 17, Binghamton is just 3 to 4 hours from the major population centers of New York City and Philadelphia.
